I enjoyed last night. I dunno why, it was just a good night or I was in a good mood. I'm about halfway through Zen and it's a decent book for one that has nothing happen in it. At work we started rolling out Nagios because Nagios is cool, and it's...well...cool. We have roughly 30 servers that need monitoring, so it's not like we have a big rollout to do. We've gotten to the point that we're writing too many one-off scripts to monitor stuff. Nagios is going to be cool though. With that said, tabs for the day are below
- nagios howto: notification escalations</a></li>
- make your home come alive with heyu</a></li>
- heyu</a></li>
- graphviz for mac (has a cool auto-updating feature)</a></li>
- diagramming splunk's data flow</a></li>
- designing a totally new home office</a></li>
- advanced ssh configuration and tunneling</a></li>
- datejs</a></li>
- ubuntu customization kit</a></li>
- determine if firebug is running</a></li>
- understanding sugar code</a></li>
</ul> - make your home come alive with heyu</a></li>
